Gold foiling

In the image, you can see an example of a Wedding Invite that has been foiled and one that has been digitally printed.  The content on both sides of the wedding card is identical.

Print on the left side: it can be seen that the print on the left side has a beautiful shine to it.  As the card is held and moved when in your hands, the foil can be seen on the entire content of the left side of the card.  Looking at it from different angles and different lighting perspectives, the gold looks different. It definitely has a luxurious look to it.

Print on the right side: The card on the right side has been digitally printed. Generally speaking with digital printing, no matter what angle you look at it, it appears the same. It is often referred to as a ‘flat gold’ print and does not have any of the shine of the gold foil print.
